Energy

The International Energy Agency (IEA), which falls under the OECD administrative umbrella, was created in response to the first energy crisis back in the 1970s. IEA works to ensure reliable, affordable and clean energy for its 28 member countries and beyond. The IEA addresses all types of energy sources. It gathers statistics on world energy markets, analyses those markets and the technologies that support them, and evaluates policies to make them operate better.
