The OS Q Scanner Generation is the result of new technological developments as well as our consistent work on technical innovati-ons. It fulfills the highest demands under the headings of image quality, process efficiency and productivity.The unique image quality of the OS Q is based on the perfect interplay of especially high-quality technical components. Thus, the image quality of the OS Q extends far beyond the requirements of all common digitalization standards, e.g. ISO 19264, Metamorfoze or FADGI.The scanning system features a completely new and self-developed camera system ba-sed on a CMOS sensor. The camera features a high dynamic range and is also capable of reproducing the finest gradations.

The A0 high end scanner for maximum performance and perfect images

Millions of books, maps and files are lost Millions of books, maps and files are lost ly ruined. With the disappearance of these valuable cultural assets we normally also lose the information they contain – forever. What that means for the future of human society cannot be expressed simply in figures. Therefore libraries and archives are not giving up on their efforts to preserve this cultural heritage for future generations. With our recently developed Omniscan 14000 high performance scanner, historic documents can now be scanned with even higher quality and speed. With a scanning speed starting at 6.5 seconds for a full A0-size document and an illumination system which excludes ultraviolet light, the most sensitive materials, measuring up to 1240 mm x 870 mm (49 inch x 34 inch), can be digitized. For the protection of cultural assets the new Omniscan 14000 represents a new benchmark in the market exceeding even the highest requirements and combining efficiency with an ergonomic design.
