Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam said that development technology is a big challenge for many industries, including libraries but also brings opportunities and requires the whole industry to actively face challenges, thus turning time effective development muscle. Digitizing libraries nationwide will contribute to attracting millions of readers, even more.
This is a seminor with the participation of scientists, managers and library staff in order to assess the status and results of the library industry in contributing to economic development and literature, chemistry and society in the past time. Since then, the delegates have identified the requirements set forth in the development direction in the new period, collecting materials to complete the draft Law on Library.

As planned, in 2019, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to improve and build a system of legal documents to support the development of the library, including the Library Law.
The library field will continue to innovate the operation method, promote the application of science and technology to operate, especially to build and develop documentary capital, to create a digital collection connecting with the Vietnamese Knowledge System.
